FIT1054

The content taught in this unit is essential for computer science or for becoming a software developer (in particular to pass interviews). The slides are out of date and refer to things that have since been removed from the unit, but other than that, this unit is taught decently well. Assignments come with a lot of scaffold code which personally was a slight pain (compared to FIT2004 and FIT3155). This unit is pretty much the same as FIT1008 — the only ‘advanced’ things are maybe an extra question on an assignment or a tighter time complexity. In-person attendance was only required for the 3 quizzes we had (which were outside of class time).
