After doing 2099, I don't really get the point of this unit. It feels like a bit of a filler and just rehashes concepts I've already learnt. I also wish we would build something actually useful rather than another game, or at least have the option to do something different - like a physics simulator or something idk

It was enjoyable to create a game in Java. However, the unit required that we write reflections every 2 weeks on the content and our learning. Not only were these reflections a massive pain in the ass, useless, unhelpful, and poorly explained, but they also marked these reflections incredibly harshly with minimal feedback.

This unit is basically 2099 but with 2101's idea of continuous feedback from the teaching team as you develop your project. Problem is that the feedback comes EXTREMELY late, like my Sprint 2 feedback came out after my team submitted sprint 3. And the feedback is quite...generated to say the least. The workload is quite enormous complex to say the least, and it doesn't help that the CE Jean-Guy Schneider doesn't communicate too professionally. I'm trying my very best to be professional in this review, but if I were to extend anymore of my thoughts into this I'll probably devolve into meaningless insults hurled towards the CE and content. To all software engineers, prepare yourselves mentally, and to others don't even bother looking at this please
