They've massively ramped up the difficulty of this unit and Charith's other ones, which means it's now harder to get a HD - not a bad thing, just means you need to put in more work for PSA study. The resources we're provided with (e.g. sample PSA) aren't that great at preparing you for the 4165 actual PSAs. If the resources were a bit better, lectures a bit shorter and faster paced, and PSAs covering more than just the math questions (i.e. check understanding of written concepts) I think this unit would be absolutely awesome. If you get Charith as a tutor you'll learn a lot more in the applieds and labs than some of the other tutors. He also handed out chocolates in Week 11 so I lowkey fell in love

Like all Charith units (FIT2100, FIT3159), the content is boring and difficult but the unit structure means the workload is light and makes it easy to get good marks.

Explaining my Title which means Basic Charith Unit and they all follow the following characteristics: Content: WILL be very boring and long with no thought being put into the human beings who will watch this. Moreover the content and workshop will be disconnected you will almost feel like your in a different units workshop which is mostly due to the fact that content is again very theory focused and offers no practical insight. The presenter usually reads whats written on the slides for most of the vids. Workshop: They are pretty alright in my opinion easy to understand and offer a quick recap of important topic which I have found really helpful. PSA: These are wild. Each question will either be the easiest thing you have ever done I am talking year 5 level maths or will require some very good understanding of the material and good assumptions which I don't think this unit teaches from its content.
