This unit covers discrete maths, which most people probably haven’t done much of in high school, so a lot of the content is new and interesting. I found the unit really fun and I would recommend it to anyone who thinks that they might like maths! The unit is also very useful for future core computer science units, notably FIT2014. In-person attendance required for the weekly applied sessions.
